The Auggee Bear Foundation was created by families who know firsthand the challenges — and the extraordinary joy — of raising a child with a disability.
How Auggee Bear Came to Be
Every great foundation begins with a single moment of love. For us, it began with Auggee — a child whose spirit, resilience, and infectious smile reminded everyone around him that every life is a gift worth celebrating.
Auggee's family discovered that while the love was boundless, the resources and support for families like theirs were often hard to find. They set out to change that — not just for their family, but for every family navigating the beautiful, challenging journey of raising a child with a disability.
Today, the Auggee Bear Foundation carries that spirit forward — giving nonverbal autistic and developmentally disabled children a voice by providing free iPads with pre-installed speech software, and building a supportive community so no child, family, or caregiver ever feels alone.
