The Auggee Bear Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of children with autism and other developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities, and supporting their families and caregivers. Information We Collect
We collect contact information from our Contact, Volunteer, Partner Inquiry, or Community sign-up forms; donation information processed by our third-party payment processor (we do not store full card numbers ourselves); program application details you share when requesting an iPad, speech software, or other services for a child in your care; communications you send us; and automatically collected data like IP address and pages visited via standard analytics.
How We Use Information
We use your information to process donations and send receipts, respond to inquiries and applications, provide our free programs, send updates if you opt in, improve the Site, and meet legal and tax obligations as a nonprofit.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share only with payment processors to process donations, service providers who help operate the Site under confidentiality obligations, and legal authorities if required by law. We may publish aggregated, de-identified statistics.
Children's Privacy
Our programs serve children, but the Site itself is intended for parents, caregivers, and adults acting on a child's behalf. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 through the Site.
